Job Summary

We are looking for a Project Engineer (Mechanical) to coordinate product development activities between R&D;, Design teams, and customers. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring project progress, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate product development activities among R&D;, Design teams, and customers.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and overall project progress.
- Prepare and regularly update project trackers, schedules, status reports, and documentation.
- Serve as a key coordination point between internal teams and customers.
- Ensure customer requirements, project information, and technical documentation are properly maintained and communicated.
- Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, record Minutes of Meeting (MoM), and follow up on action items.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays, risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks.
- Escalate critical issues, risks, and project delays to the concerned manager.
- Coordinate with Design, R&D;, Production, Quality, Purchase, and other cross-functional teams.
- Support the alignment of customer requirements with internal engineering and development activities.
- Assist in managing engineering change requests and maintaining clear project scope.
- Prepare periodic project status reports for management and customers.
- Maintain records of project revisions, approvals, engineering changes, and customer communications.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, industrial equipment, or product development.
- Basic understanding of mechanical design and product development processes.
- Experience working with R&D;, Design, or Engineering teams.
- Knowledge of project management tools, ERP, or PLM software will be an added advantage.
