Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day electrical maintenance activities at the depot/project site.

- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure.

- Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.

- Maintain and monitor depot electrical systems, including LT panels, transformers, DG sets, electrical distribution systems, lighting, and other related equipment.

- Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and service providers for maintenance and repair activities.

- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure and associated electrical systems.

- Monitor electrical safety, equipment health, and maintenance schedules.

- Prepare and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown reports, and maintenance records.

- Conduct regular inspections and identify potential electrical failures before they impact operations.

- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.





- Maintain adequate availability of critical electrical spares and coordinate for timely procurement.

- Support project teams during installation, commissioning, testing, and handover of electrical systems.

- Coordinate with operations and other maintenance teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted bus operations.

- Lead technicians/electricians and allocate daily maintenance activities.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.

- Experience in LT/HT electrical systems, panels, transformers, DG sets, and electrical distribution.

- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance practices.

- Exposure to EV charging systems will be an added advantage.

- Positive understanding of electrical safety and statutory compliance.

- Ability to manage vendors, contractors, and technicians.

- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Good communication and coordination skills.
