JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a hands-on Project Engineer with 3–6 years of relevant experience in commercial interior projects, with strong exposure to glass partitions, aluminium works, interior fit-outs, and on-site project execution.

The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day site execution, manpower and subcontractor coordination, project progress and quality monitoring, material and drawing coordination, and communication with clients, consultants, vendors, and other project stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Execution & Coordination

- Plan and supervise daily site execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, design teams, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and consultants.
- Monitor manpower, productivity, work fronts, and project progress.
- Identify site constraints and coordinate timely resolution.
- Participate in site meetings and provide progress updates.

Technical & Drawing Coordination
- Read and interpret architectural and shop drawings.
- Coordinate drawing clarifications and raise RFIs/technical queries.
- Verify site dimensions, levels, alignment, plumb, and finishing.
- Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.
- Coordinate material requirements based on drawings and site progress.

Glass & Aluminium Works
- Supervise installation of single and double-glazed glass partitions.




- Manage aluminium-framed partitions and related systems.
- Supervise glass and DG doors, solid and honeycomb shutters, stile doors, and related systems.
- Ensure proper installation of glass, aluminium profiles, hardware, joints, sealants, and finishing.

Manpower & Subcontractor Management
- Plan and allocate manpower according to project priorities.
- Supervise site supervisors, installers, workers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor workmanship, productivity, and work quality.
- Coordinate subcontractors to ensure timely project completion.

Material, Quality & Safety
- Prepare material requirements based on drawings and site progress.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores teams for material availability.
- Check incoming materials against approved specifications and samples.
- Monitor material usage, wastage, storage, and handling.
- Conduct regular site quality inspections.
- Track and close NCRs, observations, and punch points.
- Ensure compliance with site HSE requirements and proper PPE usage.
- Ensure safe handling, movement, and installation of glass.

Planning, Reporting & Billing
- Prepare daily and weekly work plans and Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
- Track progress against project schedules.
- Maintain manpower, material, measurement, and productivity records.
- Maintain RFIs, inspection requests, drawing registers, NCR records, site photographs, and handover documentation.




- Take accurate site measurements and verify executed quantities.
- Support RA bills and subcontractor billing.
- Track variations and additional works.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in commercial interiors, interior fit-out, glass partition, aluminium works, façade, or commercial construction.
- Commercial interiors experience is mandatory.
- Project coordination experience is mandatory.
- Strong hands-on on-site project execution experience.
- Experience coordinating manpower, subcontractors, materials, drawings, and site activities.
- Experience in glass partition and aluminium works is strongly preferred.
- Willingness to work in office and travel across India as required.
