We are looking for an experienced and responsible ex-Defence Service Officer to head and coordinate an ongoing infrastructure project at Kochi.
The candidate should preferably have retired in the rank of Lieutenant Commander / Commander or equivalent and possess experience in Works, Estate Management, Infrastructure Projects, or Project Coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Head and coordinate day-to-day project activities at Kochi.
- Liaise with the client, consultants, contractors, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Monitor civil, electrical and associated infrastructure works.
- Coordinate drawings, approvals, site requirements and execution priorities.
- Monitor project schedules and follow up on pending activities.
- Conduct progress meetings and maintain proper project documentation.
- Coordinate with Military Engineer Services (MES) and other Defence establishments, wherever required.
- Identify site constraints and facilitate timely resolution.
- Report project progress, critical issues and requirements to Head Office.
Preferred Experience
- Retired Defence Officer, preferably from a technical, works or infrastructure background.
- Experience in Works and Estate Management is highly desirable.
- Previous interaction or working experience with MES preferred.
- Positive understanding of government/Defence working procedures and documentation.
- Strong communication, coordination and leadership skills.
- Comfortable managing contractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
Joining: Preferably at the earliest. Pay: ₹80,891.50 - ₹120,000.00 per month
