Centralized, qualified scan team supporting all business units to analyze internally developed and inbound third-party software code for compliance with open-source licenses, commercial licenses, and standards. Using a variety of software tools, review and annotate code according to defined guidelines and resolve scan projects with minimal escalations to the OS Legal group.
Responsibilities
- Scanning and reviewing code to ensure it adheres to legal compliance guidelines.
- Work closely with engineering teams to resolve the legal compliance issues.
- Work closely with various legal departments and stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications Associate''s degree.
OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
Required Skills
- Opensource licenses
- commercial licenses
- Ability to do high volume, repetitive tasks with extreme accuracy.
- Research skills using internal resources and/or internet as needed.
- Basic knowledge on issue tracking tools like Jira.
- Git
- Perforce
- Analytical and communication skills(both verbal and written)
- Basic Python scripting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
