Your role is to help them keep moving.

As a Program Associate at Lighthouse Communities Foundation, you'll work closely with young people from the moment they enrol — supporting their learning, building their confidence, helping them overcome challenges, preparing them for employment, and staying connected even after they begin their careers.

Your Role: Be the Connector

As a Program Associate, you'll sit at the heart of the learner journey.

You'll connect the different pieces that help a young person succeed:

Enrolment → Learning → Engagement → Completion → Employment → Alumni

You'll work with learners, trainers, placement teams, centre leadership, and other stakeholders to make sure that no part of this journey is overlooked.

What You Will Do

Make the Program Work on the Ground

- Support the smooth implementation of skilling and livelihood programs at the centre.
- Coordinate day-to-day program activities and create a positive learner experience.
- Support the centre in achieving learner participation, completion, and employment outcomes.
- Work closely with trainers and program teams to ensure effective delivery.
- Identify operational challenges and help find practical solutions.

Be a Trusted Person for Learners For some young people, having someone who notices, listens, and encourages them can make all the difference.

You will

- Build meaningful relationships with learners.
- Understand their aspirations,



challenges, and concerns.
- Motivate learners throughout their program journey.
- Encourage participation and create a supportive learning environment.
- Identify and nurture student leaders and alumni volunteers.
- Help strengthen a sense of community within the centre.

Make Sure Learners Don't Get Left Behind

Attendance is a number. The story behind the number is what matters.

You will:

- Track attendance, participation, learning progress, and engagement.
- Identify learners who are struggling or at risk of dropping out.
- Understand the reasons behind learning or participation challenges.
- Coordinate timely interventions with trainers and relevant team members.
- Follow up with learners and support them towards successful program completion.

Help Learners Take the Next Step

Learning becomes more meaningful when it creates an chance.

You will work closely with the placement team to:

- Prepare learners for interviews and employment opportunities.
- Support placement-readiness activities.
- Encourage participation in scheduled interviews.
- Help learners stay motivated through the transition from training to employment.
- Contribute to improving placement and employment outcomes.

Use Data to Improve Impact

Good programs need good information.

You will:

- Maintain accurate learner records and program information.
- Update internal systems and use MS Excel / Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
- Monitor key program metrics.
- Identify trends and insights that can improve learner engagement and outcomes.
- Ensure program data is accurate and up to date.

Support Centres in Pune region
- Assist the Centre Head with day-to-day centre operations.
- Coordinate with trainers, placement teams, and program staff.
- Support centre activities and initiatives as required.
- Take ownership of tasks that contribute to a smooth learner experience.
- Demonstrate Lighthouse values through professionalism, empathy, collaboration, and integrity.

Who Are We Looking For?

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- BBA, MBA, MSW, or a related discipline preferred.

Experience

- 3–4 years of experience in skilling, livelihoods, education, youth development, community programs,



or a related field.
- Experience working directly with youth from underserved communities will be an advantage.

Skills That Matter

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong coordination and organisational abilities.
- Good problem-solving and follow-through.
- Comfortable working with data and basic reporting tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Fluency in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
- Willingness to travel across Pune as required.
