Role Description The Professor of Finance (Senior Stake Holder)



will be responsible for providing academic leadership in the Finance discipline, including curriculum development, course design, and delivery of lectures at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting high-quality research, supervising student projects and theses, mentoring junior faculty, and contributing to the enhancement of teaching standards and academic policies.

The role involves active engagement with industry and professional bodies, fostering collaborations that support internships, placements, and joint research initiatives. The professor will contribute to departmental administration, participate in academic committees, and support strategic initiatives aligned with Amity University’s vision and mission. This is a full time, on-site role based at the Kolkata campus.

Qualifications

- Doctoral degree (PhD) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field from a Premier institution.
