Role: Production Workman/Operator

Job Purpose :

To safely and efficiently execute batch manufacturing activities as per approved SOP, process parameters, food safety requirements, and quality standards, ensuring right-first-time production, accurate documentation, and timely batch completion.

1. Batch Manufacturing

- Execute batch manufacturing activities as per approved SOP& process instructions.

- Perform accurate raw material identification, verification, weighing/charging, pouring, mixing, heating, processing & packaging as per defined parameters.

- Ensure the correct sequence, quantity, temperature, time, mixing speed and other critical process parameters are followed.

- Ensure proper packing/filling in approved packaging materials such as jerry cans, AL/Coex bags, CFCs, etc.

- Follow FIFO/FEFO and material traceability requirements as applicable.

- Stop the process and immediately inform the Shift In-charge in case of any material mismatch, process deviation, equipment abnormality, or quality concern.

1. Quality &
- Food Safety

- Follow all requirements to ensure right-first-time batch manufacturing.

- Understand and comply with basic HACCP, CCP/OPRP, GMP, FDA, AIB and food safety requirements.

- Perform and record CCP/OPRP and other required process checks at the defined frequency.

- Maintain proper product and material identification to prevent mix-up, contamination and cross-contamination.

- Immediately report any quality, food safety or process deviation.

1. Material Management

- Coordinate with Warehouse for timely availability of required raw materials.

- Ensure all required RM is arranged in the designated bin/trolley before batch execution.

- Verify material name, code, batch/lot number, quantity and status before use.

- Ensure proper handling, storage and return of unused materials.

1. Cleaning, Sanitation &
- CIP





- Follow approved procedures for cleaning and sanitizing vessels, tanks, fillers, containers, utensils, equipment and production areas.

- Execute and monitor CIP processes as per defined SOP and parameters.

- Ensure cleaning records are completed accurately.

- Maintain required hygiene and prevent contamination during batch manufacturing.

1. Documentation &
- Compliance

- Complete BMR, CCP, pre-batch/pre-manufacturing checks, in-process checks and post-batch documentation accurately and on time.

- Ensure all entries are accurate, complete and traceable.

- Never make unauthorized corrections or backdated entries.

- Immediately communicate any documentation gap or process non-adherence to the Shift In-charge.

1. Safety

- Follow 100% safety compliance and use required PPE.

- Follow protected practices for handling chemicals, hot materials, equipment and moving materials.

- Report unsafe conditions, near misses, incidents and equipment abnormalities immediately.

- Do not operate equipment without required authorization/competency.

1. Equipment &
- Shop Floor

- Operate production equipment only after required training/qualification.

- Perform basic equipment checks before and during operation.

- Report abnormal equipment conditions and support TPM activities.

- Maintain 5S, housekeeping and visual management standards in the assigned area.

1. Material Handling

- Safely handle and move pallets, drums, bags and other materials using approved material-handling equipment.

- Follow manual handling requirements and safe lifting practices.

- Maintain proper identification and segregation of materials.

1. Teamwork &
- Communication

- Work closely with Shift In-charge, Section Head, Quality, Warehouse, Engineering and Planning to ensure smooth batch execution.

- Participate in shift handover and communicate pending activities, abnormalities and deviations.

- Support other team members as required while maintaining process discipline.
