Role Description The Production Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Howrah, responsible for supporting day-to-day biological manufacturing operations. The role includes coordinating production planning, monitoring fermentation processes, and ensuring adherence to quality control standards and documentation requirements.

The Production

Specialist will assist in managing production workflows, optimizing resource utilization,



and maintaining compliance with internal protocols and relevant regulatory guidelines. Daily tasks also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, guiding operators on process steps, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in production systems.

Qualifications

- Ability to plan and coordinate production activities, including Production Planning and basic Production Management.
- Experience with Quality Control procedures, process checks, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Robust Communication skills for effective coordination with operators, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
- Capability to provide Training and on-the-job guidance to production staff on standard operating procedures.
- Preferred background in biotechnology, microbiology, chemical engineering, or related field (diploma or degree).
- Familiarity with fermentation-based manufacturing or biological inputs is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, structured documentation habits, and ability to follow data-driven processes.
- Readiness to work on-site in Howrah and comply with shift-based or extended-hour production schedules as needed.
