Job Summary

Jakson Limited is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to lead 5 kVA DG Assembly operations for Special Projects at the Kalsar Plant. The role is responsible for end-to-end production execution by ensuring the availability of manpower, materials, and machinery while meeting production, quality, safety, and delivery targets. The candidate will also coordinate cross-functional activities, manage customer inspections, and drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end production activities for the 5 kVA DG Assembly line.
- Ensure the availability of manpower, materials, tools, and machinery to achieve daily and monthly production targets.
- Monitor production planning and ensure adherence to production schedules.
- Maintain SAP transactions and ensure alignment between SAP records and physical inventory.
- Coordinate with Stores, SCM, Quality, Maintenance, Design, and Planning teams for smooth production flow.
- Supervise, guide, and evaluate the performance of production associates and technicians.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, work instructions, and quality procedures across the assembly line.
- Handle customer inspections, product testing, FAT, and inspection-related documentation.




- Drive process improvements through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Monitor productivity, rejection, rework, and line efficiency while implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare daily MIS reports, production presentations, and management updates using MS Office.
- Support new product introductions and special project execution by coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- 2–4 years of experience in DG Assembly, Engine Assembly, Genset Manufacturing, or Industrial Equipment Assembly.
- Experience in handling production teams and achieving production targets in a manufacturing workplace.
- Working knowledge of SAP production transactions and MS Office applications.
- Exposure to customer inspections, testing procedures, and production documentation.
