Role Description This is a full-time, in office Production Officer role for freshers BSC/MSC CHEMISTRY, B PHARM/M PHARM FRESHER based at Meril’s facility in Valsad.

The Production

Officer will support day-to-day manufacturing operations, including monitoring production lines, following standard operating procedures, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities include assisting in batch documentation, coordinating with quality control teams,



and reporting any deviations or equipment issues to supervisors. The role involves learning and applying production best practices, participating in on-the-job training, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product consistency.

The Production

Officer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth workflow and timely completion of production targets.

Qualifications

- Skills in Manufacturing and basic understanding of production processes in regulated industries; ability to follow SOPs and maintain documentation.
- Knowledge of Quality Control principles, including inspection, testing, and compliance with quality standards.
- Interest or exposure to Research and process improvement, with willingness to learn analytical and problem-solving approaches.
- Training orientation, with the ability to absorb technical instructions and apply them in daily operations.
- Awareness of Food Industry or other closely regulated sectors is beneficial, especially regarding hygiene, safety, and quality practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related discipline preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a team, and readiness to work in shift-based production environments.
- Good communication skills and basic proficiency in using computers and production-related software.
