Roles & Responsibilities

- Handle and manage overall Denim Garment Production from cutting to finishing and packing.

- Plan daily and monthly production as per shipment and production targets.

- Manage production teams, manpower, line allocation and machine utilization.

- Ensure production targets are achieved as per quality, cost and delivery (QCD) requirements.

- Monitor production efficiency, line performance and productivity.

- Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Merchandising, Washing, Cutting and Finishing departments.

- Ensure proper follow-up of production schedules and timely order completion.

- Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective actions to improve efficiency.

- Control rejection, alteration, rework and production losses.

- Ensure proper implementation of SOPs, quality standards and safety requirements on the production floor.

- Monitor manpower productivity and optimize manpower utilization.

- Conduct regular production meetings and review daily production reports.

- Ensure smooth execution of denim styles/orders from start to finish.

- Drive continuous improvement in production processes, productivity and cost reduction.

- Handle production-related issues and coordinate with management for timely resolution.





- Ensure proper discipline and 5S practices within the production department.

- Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly production MIS reports.

Preferred candidate profile

- Candidate should have minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Denim Garment Manufacturing.

- Strong experience in handling end-to-end denim production operations.

- Should have hands-on experience in Production Planning, Line Management, Manpower Management and Production Control.

- Positive understanding of Denim Garment Manufacturing, Sewing, Finishing and Washing processes.

- Should be capable of achieving production targets while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.

- Strong knowledge of production efficiency, productivity improvement, line balancing and cost control.

- Experience in handling large production teams and multiple production lines.

- Good coordination skills with Quality, PPC, Merchandising, Washing, Cutting and Finishing departments.

- Strong problem-solving, decision-making and team-management skills.

- Candidates currently working in Denim Garment Manufacturing / Export Garment Factories will be preferred.

- Location: Boisar, Maharashtra.
