Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Develop Monthly Production Plans (MPS) based on sales forecast and customer requirements and ensure adherence across all plants.
2. Prepare, review and communicate daily, weekly and monthly production plans to all concerned departments.
3. Monitor production schedules and make necessary amendments based on customer priorities, machine availability and capacity constraints.
4. Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality and HR Departments to ensure smooth execution of production plans.
5. Define and maintain green level inventory of Raw Material, Child Parts, WIP and Finished Goods.
6. Review plant capacities, manpower availability and machine loading to ensure optimum utilization of resources.
7. Monitor daily order status, open bookings and dispatch commitments and ensure timely deliveries.
8. Ensure timely planning and execution of sample requirements, export orders and new project requirements.
9. Analyze production statistics and identify gaps affecting production schedules and customer commitments.
10. Coordinate with Sales and Production teams to establish priorities aligned with customer requirements.
11. Review ageing reports, inventory turnover and dispatch performance and take corrective actions.
12. Conduct regular cross-functional meetings and drive closure of planning-related concerns.
13. Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to lead time reduction, inventory optimization and productivity enhancement.

Provide advance information to management regarding risks related to production, dispatch and inventory.
15. Lead planning activities for current projects, capacity enhancement and business growth initiatives.
16. Ensure generation, accuracy, maintenance and submission of all reports (daily, weekly and monthly).
17. Train and guide PPC team members for effective execution of planning activities.
18. Ensure adherence to all organizational policies, procedures and processes and complete tasks assigned by Top Management whenever required.

Education: BE/ BTech/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Production or related field (Mandatory). Experience: 6-10 years of experience, should have good understanding of Theory of constraints, Make to order/ Make to stock, handling assembly line etc.

Location: Virar (Company Bus service available from Virar station to factory)
