Position: Production Merchandiser

Department: Production / Merchandising

Reporting To: Production Manager / Senior Merchandiser

Job Purpose To coordinate customer orders from order confirmation through production and packing, ensuring the required quality, quantity and delivery schedule are achieved.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Review confirmed orders, specifications, BOM, samples and delivery dates.
- Prepare and maintain Time & Action (T&A;) plans for each order.
- Coordinate fabric, trims, accessories, labels and packing-material requirements.
- Follow up fabric processing, cutting, stitching, checking, finishing and packing.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, Warehouse and Merchandising teams.
- Monitor daily production status against order quantity and shipment date.
- Follow up approval samples, size/specification details, artwork and packing requirements.
- Identify material or production delays and immediately escalate them to management.
- Ensure production follows approved samples and buyer specifications.
- Monitor rejection, rework, wastage and pending quantities.
- Maintain accurate order-wise production and material status.
- Coordinate final inspection readiness and shipment handover.




- Update ERP/MIS records and prepare daily/weekly production follow-up reports.
- Ensure customer orders are completed Right Quality – Right Quantity – Right Time.

Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Textile Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, Fashion Technology or any relevant degree. Experience: 2–6 years in home textiles / textile manufacturing / export production merchandising.

Required Skills: Production planning, T&A; follow-up, BOM knowledge, fabric and trims knowledge, Excel/ERP, communication, problem-solving and interdepartmental coordination.

Candidate Location Requirement

Candidates from Karur and surrounding Karur areas only should apply.

Preference will be given to candidates who are currently residing in Karur or nearby areas and can commute to the Manmangalam workplace regularly.
