Role Purpose To manage and control the complete production operations of the uPVC windows and doors manufacturing unit, ensuring timely production, consistent quality, optimum manpower utilization, minimum material wastage, and adherence to project/site delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Execution

- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on project requirements and dispatch schedules.
- Monitor production from cutting → reinforcement → welding → cleaning → hardware → glazing → final inspection → packing → dispatch.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within defined timelines.
- Coordinate with sales, project/site and dispatch teams for priority requirements.

1. Manpower Management

- Plan and allocate manpower across different production activities.
- Manage skilled and semi-skilled workers and ensure optimum utilization.
- Monitor attendance, productivity and performance.
- Identify manpower requirements and coordinate with management for recruitment/training.

1. Quality Control

- Ensure production is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor critical parameters such as dimensions, welding quality, sash/frame alignment, reinforcement, hardware installation, glass fitment and drainage provisions.
- Implement inspection procedures at various stages of production.
- Identify recurring defects and take corrective/preventive action.

1. Material & Inventory Control

- Coordinate with stores and purchase teams for timely availability of profiles, reinforcement, hardware, glass, gaskets, accessories and consumables.




- Minimize material wastage and optimize profile cutting.
- Monitor production scrap and material consumption.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of profiles, glass and finished products.

1. Machine & Factory Management

- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of welding, corner cleaning, cutting, routing, drilling, glazing and other production equipment.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize machine downtime.
- Maintain a safe, organized and effective production floor.

1. Project & Delivery Coordination

- Review project-wise production requirements and pending quantities.
- Coordinate with the project/site team regarding measurements, revisions, priorities and dispatch requirements.
- Ensure production is aligned with committed delivery schedules.
- Provide regular production status and pending reports to management.

1. Process Improvement

- Identify bottlenecks in the production process and implement improvements.
- Improve productivity, reduce rejection/rework and control wastage.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Introduce production tracking and performance monitoring systems.

1. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain daily production reports, rejection/rework reports and manpower reports.
- Track project-wise production status.
- Monitor material consumption and wastage.
- Submit MIS and production performance reports to management.

Required Experience & Skills
- 5–10 years of experience in uPVC window/door manufacturing or a closely related fenestration industry.
- Strong knowledge of uPVC window and door fabrication processes.
- Experience with profile cutting, reinforcement, welding, corner cleaning, hardware, glazing and quality inspection.
- Strong manpower and production-floor management skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand window/door configurations.
- Good knowledge of production planning, inventory coordination and quality control.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting systems.

Preferred
- Experience handling project-based as well as retail production.
- Experience with multiple uPVC profile systems/series.
- Exposure to aluminium/system-aluminium production will be an advantage.
- Experience in setting up or streamlining a uPVC production facility will be an added advantage.

Overall Responsibility The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the factory operates efficiently and that the required quantity and quality of uPVC windows and doors are manufactured and made ready for dispatch as per the planned schedule.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
