Role Description The Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. The person in this role oversees daily production operations, including planning schedules, allocating resources, and ensuring that output meets quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with procurement, maintenance, and quality teams; monitoring production metrics; resolving operational issues; and implementing process improvements.

The Production

Manager leads and develops production staff, provides clear direction and feedback, and ensures adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.



This role also involves reporting on production performance, managing costs, and supporting senior management in strategic planning for the facility.

Qualifications

- Strong production management skills, including planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
- Experience with quality control, safety standards, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams, with solid people-management and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in using production-related software, spreadsheets, and reporting tools for tracking performance.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, production management, operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and process improvement mindset.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
