Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Production Manager to manage and control day-to-day production activities in our plastic manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining product quality, managing manpower, reducing production losses, and ensuring smooth coordination between Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities as per production targets.
- Ensure timely completion of production as per customer and company requirements.
- Manage production manpower, shift allocation, and work responsibilities.
- Monitor machine utilization, production efficiency, and downtime.
- Maintain proper production planning and follow the production schedule.
- Ensure product quality and minimize rejection, wastage, and rework.
- Identify production problems and take corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Team for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, Quality, and Dispatch departments for smooth production flow.
- Monitor raw material consumption and reduce unnecessary material wastage.
- Maintain daily production reports, rejection reports, downtime reports, and other required records.
- Ensure workers follow company rules, safety procedures, and production standards.
- Train and guide production workers to improve productivity and work quality.
- Monitor 5S, cleanliness, discipline, and safety standards on the production floor.
- Identify opportunities for improving production efficiency and reducing operating costs.




- Ensure proper utilization of machines, manpower, raw materials, and other resources.
- Take responsibility for achieving daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Report production performance, major issues, and improvement requirements to Management.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Plastic Manufacturing / Production.
- Good knowledge of production planning and production process management.
- Solid manpower handling and team management skills.
- Ability to manage production targets and deadlines.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Knowledge of production quality control and rejection reduction.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to prepare and understand production reports.
- Basic computer knowledge is required.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple production activities.
- Strong leadership, discipline, and ownership mindset.

Preferred Candidate
- Experience in a plastic manufacturing company will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in production planning, manpower management, machine handling, and quality control will be preferred.
- Candidate should be proactive, responsible, and target-oriented.
