Role Description The Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the Mysore facility. This role oversees daily production activities, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring manufacturing processes for material handling equipment.

Responsibilities include managing production teams, allocating resources, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and coordinating with design, maintenance and procurement to minimize downtime.

The Production

Manager tracks production metrics, identifies process improvements,



and implements cost-effective practices to meet delivery timelines and performance targets. The role also involves collaborating with engineering, quality, and logistics teams to align production outputs with customer specifications and organizational goals.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in production planning, workflow management, and process optimization in a manufacturing environment.

- Experience in team leadership, staff supervision, and performance management on the shop floor.

- Robust focus on quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to industrial standards.

- Ability to analyze production data, manage budgets, and drive efficiency and cost reduction initiatives.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.

- Prior (10 Plus) experience in engineering, fabrication, or material handling equipment manufacturing is an advantage.

- Proficiency with production management software, basic ERP tools, and MS Office for reporting and documentation.
