Production In Charge - Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily production activities to meet assigned production targets.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of planned work.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, machinery, and other production resources.
- Monitor product quality during production and support corrective actions when required.
- Maintain production records and prepare daily production reports.
- Identify production delays, bottlenecks, and process issues and support improvements.
- Ensure employees follow established production procedures and workplace safety requirements.
- Coordinate with quality, maintenance, stores, and other departments for smooth production operations.
Required Skills
- Production Planning - Ability to organize daily production activities based on targets and available resources.
- Production Monitoring - Ability to track output, delays, and production performance.
- Quality Control Awareness - Understanding of basic manufacturing quality requirements and defect prevention.
- Manpower Coordination - Ability to allocate and coordinate shop-floor manpower effectively.
- Production Reporting - Ability to maintain accurate production records and report operational performance.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement.
- Familiarity with production ERP/MIS systems.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and manufacturing SOPs.
Work Experience Requirements
- Candidates should have 12 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations.
Experience coordinating shop-floor production, manpower, quality, and daily output would be relevant to this position.
