Role Description The Production Incharge – Cosmetic Industry is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations for personal care and cosmetic products. This role includes planning and scheduling production batches, allocating resources, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

The Production

Incharge monitors line performance, coordinates with R&D;, QA, procurement, and maintenance teams, and ensures timely execution of production orders. Day-to-day tasks also involve supervising shop-floor staff, implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintaining production documentation, and optimizing processes to reduce wastage and improve efficiency.



The role requires active involvement in troubleshooting production issues, ensuring proper use of equipment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust production management skills, including planning, scheduling, line balancing, and resource allocation within a cosmetic or FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of cosmetic formulation processes, familiarity with personal care product categories, and the ability to coordinate effectively with R&D; and QA teams.
- Candidates should possess experience in quality control and assurance, including adherence to GMP, SOPs, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance relevant to cosmetic manufacturing.
- Candidates should possess skills in team supervision, workforce training, and performance monitoring to ensure safe, efficient, and disciplined shop-floor operations.
- Candidates should possess basic equipment and process troubleshooting abilities, with an understanding of production machinery used in cosmetics (mixers, filling lines, packaging equipment).
- Candidates should possess strong documentation and reporting skills, including maintaining production records, batch reports, inventory usage, and daily operational logs.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Cosmetics Technology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field are beneficial.
- Prior experience in cosmetic, personal care, or related manufacturing is highly preferred, along with good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
