The South Indian Manufacturing Company (SIMCO) is an established pharmaceutical manufacturing firm located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, widely known for its trusted heritage ointment brand, Saibol. We are recruiting disciplined and focused Production Executives to join our ointment manufacturing team at our Madurai facility.

Role & responsibilities

- Manufacturing Operations: Support day-to-day allopathic ointment manufacturing tasks, including material weighing, mixing, filling, packing, and labeling.

- SOP & GMP Compliance: Execute all shop-floor operations strictly according to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

- Documentation: Accurately maintain and update Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), production logbooks, and processing sheets.

- Quality Coordination: Coordinate closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to secure proper line clearances before starting batches.





- Equipment & Area Upkeep: Support machine changeovers, validation, and calibration tasks while monitoring the cleanliness and sanitization of production zones.

- Issue Reporting: Identify and immediately report any technical deviations, equipment breakdowns, or safety non-compliance issues to senior management.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: Strictly B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Sc Chemistry, or M.Sc Chemistry qualifications only. No other academic disciplines or engineering branches will be considered.

- Language Proficiency: Functional fluency in both Tamil and English is mandatory.

- Core Competencies: High level of personal discipline, strong teamwork habits, and an ability to work smoothly within a heavily regulated pharmaceutical plant setting.

- Industry Preference: Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in an Allopathic Pharmaceutical Manufacturing setup.

- Location Criteria: Must reside in Madurai or have a firm willingness to relocate to Madurai.
