Profile Summary-

We are hiring a Production Executive for our Namkeen and Snacks manufacturing unit to manage daily production, packaging, manpower, inventory, shift rosters and plant operations. The role will ensure achievement of production targets while maintaining food safety, quality, FIFO compliance, cost control, productivity and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Batch & Continuous Fryers, Seasoning Systems, VFFS Packaging Machines, conveyors, oil filtration systems, material handling and weighing & packing equipment. Strong skills in production planning, team supervision, process improvement, maintenance coordination, training and communication are essential.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Planning and organizing production schedules
- Assessing project and resource requirements
- Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
- Determining quality control standards
- Overseeing production processes
- Manpower management
- Cost management
- Plant management
- Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
- Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
- Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
- Liaising with buyers and marketing and sales staff
- Supervising the work of production staff
- Organizing relevant training sessions
- Month wise production forecasting, benchmarking the previous year

- Desired Candidate Profile
- The experience should be from Namkeen / Snacks Category only.



Monitors and guarantees that products are being processed and packed in conformance with best processing and food safety practices.
- Inventory management.
- Shift management - Creating weekly roasters etc.,
- Provides training and support; as well as enforcement to the Food Safety guidelines.
- Supervises production for quality and saleability.
- Establish, maintain, and monitor production standards and procedures for product quality, recovery, labour costs, and scalability.
- Reviews and updates FIFO Procedure like (instructions, charts, manuals, Labelling, colour coding, etc.) essential for verification of product quality.
- Monitor operation expenses and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality.
- Responsible for managing the overall daily production and packaging process.
- Trains and coach the team to meet defined productivity and quality targets.
- Assists with identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives.
- Previews production and operating reports and resolves operational, processing and maintenance problems, to ensure minimum costs and prevent operationally delays.
- Develops and works with supervisors/packers/process team in all areas such as problem-solving, setting and achieving goals, processes, scheduling and equipment problems.
- Training and cross-training all employees on the production line, evaluate and review production staff, and recommend/initiate disciplinary actions.
- Encourages and promotes a factory culture of continuous improvement and employee involvement.
- Response to change productively and handles other duties as required.

Skill Set Required: Good Communication skills, Should have hands-on experience with Batch Fryers, Continuous Fryers, Seasoning Systems, VFFS Packaging Machines, Conveyors and Material Handling Systems, Oil Filtration Systems, and Weighing and Packing Equipments.
