Job Details :

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production In-Charge to oversee daily manufacturing operations for our Galvanized Wire production line.

The ideal candidate will ensure productive production processes, maintain high quality standards, and manage SAE 1006 grade raw material consumption.

Key Responsibilities

· Production Planning: Plan daily/weekly production schedules based on raw material availability and as per sales demand.

· Machine Operation: Supervise the wire drawing (reducing mild steel rod diameter) and galvanizing (coating with zinc) processes.

· Process Control: Ensure the proper operation of annealing furnaces (for flexibility) and hot-dip zinc baths (typically around 450°C).

· Quality Inspection: Monitor the zinc coating thickness, tensile strength, and appearance of the final GI wire, adhering to standards like ASTM A641 or IS 280// UNBS standards.

· Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with the maintenance team to prevent downtime of drawing machines, furnaces, and coiling systems. And EOT crane PMI weekly bases and maintenance coordination DG set servicing and Electrical panel and furnace lining and critical spares monitoring for un interrupted production

· Safety Compliance:



Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with all safety protocols in handling acids (for cleaning) and hot zinc.

· Team Leadership: Train and supervise workers and production staff.

Required Skills & Experience

· Experience: 10- 15 years in GI wire line manufacturing, specifically in steel wire drawing or hot-dip galvanizing plants.

· Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Mild Steel wire drawing, descaling, acid pickling, annealing, and zinc coating techniques.

· Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.

· Leadership: Strong team management and problem-solving abilities.

· Communication skills : English /Hindi ( well read & write )

Pay: ₹115,000.00 - ₹160,000.00 per month
