Manage chemical/mechanical cleaning processes to ensure surface readiness for welding and painting. Supervise MIG/TIG operations on aluminium Heat Exchangers/heavy fabrication; troubleshoot defects (porosity, cracks). Oversee pretreatment, powder/liquid painting, ensuring adhesion and corrosion resistance. Ensure dimensional accuracy of precise fabricated assemblies as per engineering drawings. Allocate weldler and fitters according to workload, skills and production requirements.

Improvements & Kaizen Initatives with Monthly Audits. Ensure adherence to IRIS (ISO/TS 16949 / 22163) , ISO 9001, or Defense quality standards. Compliance to specification / process requirements during manufacturing. Maintain process documentation.
Ensure 5S in the shop floor Collaborate with Quality to reduce PPM / rejection rates in aluminium welding and painting. Ensure workers follow PPE, safety procedures, 6S and workplace discipline.
Preferred candidate profile
Expert in metallurgy, MIG/TIG welding, machining, stamping, casting, brazing , coatings and painting processes. Robust background in OEE, Time Study, Capacity Planning, and Lean Manufacturing. Knowledge of reading complex GD&T; drawings. Experience in Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma. Leak testing and pressure testing methods. Cycle time optimization Inter Personal Skills for Cross Dept Coordination for Daily & Monthly Work Auditing Experience of working on ERP systems.
