Production Coordinator – 3D Animation

The Lead Vision is looking for a highly organized and responsible Production Coordinator to manage and coordinate the day-to-day workflow of our Blender-based 3D animation production pipeline .

The candidate will work closely with Production Managers, Team Leads, and Artists to ensure that projects move smoothly through all production stages and are completed on time and according to the required quality standards .

The ideal candidate should have a basic to good understanding of the complete 3D animation pipeline, particularly a Blender-based production workflow .

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily production activities across multiple 3D animation projects.
- Track the complete production pipeline:
- Concept/Storyboard → Modeling → Texturing → Rigging → Layout → Animation → Lighting → Rendering → Compositing → Final Delivery.
- Assign and follow up on tasks with artists according to the production plan.
- Track daily artist output, project progress, pending tasks, revisions, and deadlines .
- Coordinate between Modeling, Texturing, Rigging, Animation, Lighting, Rendering, and Compositing teams.
- Identify production delays and bottlenecks and immediately report them to the Production Manager/Head of Production.
- Ensure files are transferred correctly from one department to another.
- Maintain proper file naming, version control, folder structure, and production status .




- Follow up on feedback and revisions until final approval.
- Maintain daily and weekly production trackers.
- Prepare Daily Production Reports (DPR) showing completed, pending, delayed, and revision tasks.
- Monitor whether artists are meeting their assigned daily/weekly production targets.
- Coordinate priorities when multiple projects are running simultaneously.
- Ensure approved assets and latest file versions are being used by production teams.
- Support the Production Manager in manpower planning and project scheduling.
- Escalate technical or production issues that may affect project deadlines.
- Maintain clear communication between artists, team leads, and management.

Blender Pipeline Knowledge Candidate should understand the basic workflow of:
- Blender Modeling
- UV Mapping & Texturing
- Character/Prop/Environment Assets
- Rigging
- Layout
- Character Animation
- Lighting
- Rendering
- Basic Compositing
- Render/file dependencies
- Asset and scene management
- File versioning and production handoffs

Note: Advanced Blender artist-level skills are not mandatory,



but the candidate must understand how a Blender production pipeline works and should be able to identify where a project is stuck.

- Ability to prepare clear production reports

Preferred Experience Experience: 1–3 years in Animation/VFX/Game/3D Production Coordination

Candidates with experience in 3D animation studios, Blender pipelines, kids' animation, episodic content, nursery rhymes, or high-volume YouTube content production will be preferred.

Reporting To Production Manager / Head of Production / Management The Production Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that management always has a clear and accurate picture of each project's current production status, delays, bottlenecks, and expected delivery date.
