- Set Preparation & Lockdown: Assist the crew with setting up, moving, and tearing down equipment, gear, and scenery. Perform "lockdowns" during filming to ensure no outside noise or people interrupt a take.

- Talent Wrangling: Coordinate and escort actors, extras, and background talent between trailers, makeup, and the active set.

- Communication Flow: Relay instructions from the Director or Assistant Directors (ADs) to various departments. Distribute and maintain walkie-talkies (radios) and replace "hot bricks" (charged batteries).

- Set Maintenance: Clean and clear the set throughout the day, ensuring the workspace remains secure, organized, and free of debris.

- Supply Runs: Execute last-minute errands, including picking up production equipment, expendables, craft services (snacks/meals), or office supplies.

- Hospitality Support: Assist with the setup and distribution of catering, water, and coffee runs for the cast and crew. [1, 2, 3]
