Product Manager, BIM CoPilot

About the role

Joseph Engineering Services (JES) is a BIM delivery company with over 260 BIM professionals. We are building CoPilot, an AI-assisted product for Revit modelling and coordination, used by our own teams first.

We are hiring a Product Manager to own CoPilot delivery end to end: the roadmap, the release plan, and the day-to-day execution of a small, fast-moving development team. This is a hands-on role. You will be the single owner of what gets built, in what order, and when it ships.

What you will do

- Own the product roadmap and break it into clearly scoped milestones and releases.
- Define the scope of each release and write acceptance criteria that developers can build to and QA can test against.
- Manage the development team's execution day to day: make sure every developer is working on the right item, unblock them, and keep the backlog clean and prioritized.
- Run release management: decide what ships together, coordinate QA, sign off releases, and write release notes.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing with our BIM modelers and coordinators, and feed their findings back into the roadmap.
- Make sure the test data and models needed for each release are ready before development starts.
- Track and report delivery metrics: throughput, cycle time,



blockers, and progress against milestones.
- Bring decisions to leadership with the context, the options and a recommendation.

What you will not do

- Write code. Developers own technical design and implementation.
- Line-manage the developers. You direct the work; their reporting line stays as is.
- Run sprints or ceremonies for their own sake. We work from a prioritized queue, not a sprint calendar.

What we are looking for

Required

- 4+ years in product management or technical delivery management for software products, with releases shipped to real users.
- Strong at writing explicit, testable requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Working knowledge of BIM and Revit: families, levels, clashes, coordination workflows. AEC industry experience, or product experience serving it.
- Comfortable running a backlog and a release calendar as the single source of truth, and keeping it honest.
- Direct communicator. Able to say no to a developer and to leadership, with the reason.
- Based in Chennai or Dubai, or willing to relocate.

Preferred

- Experience delivering with AI-assisted or agent-based development workflows.
- Prior background as a BIM coordinator, modeler or MEP engineer.
- Experience with QA and UAT coordination in a small team.
