About CrazyNeon
CrazyNeon is a fast-growing e-commerce brand specializing in custom LED neon signs and other custom signage, selling to customers across the US and other international markets. It's owned and operated by Propound Internet Pvt. Ltd.
We're building the next generation of the custom signage buying experience — combining e-commerce, technology, design, automation, and AI.
About the role
We're looking for a Product Manager who's genuinely obsessed with the customer journey, conversion rates, and building better digital experiences.
This isn't a traditional PM role focused mainly on managing a software roadmap. You'll identify opportunities across the CrazyNeon website and customer journey, figure out why customers convert or drop off, test and ship improvements, and work closely with design, technology, marketing, sales, and operations to make them happen.
A meaningful part of the role is also forward-looking: exploring and building new AI-powered products and experiences that change how customers design, customize, buy, and interact with custom signage.
The ideal candidate combines e-commerce, CRO, product thinking, data analytics, technology, and AI — in one person.
What you'll do
1. E-commerce product management
- Own and continuously improve the CrazyNeon digital customer journey, from landing page to purchase.
- Identify friction points across product discovery, customization, pricing, artwork submission, design approval, checkout, and post-purchase.
- Build and maintain a product roadmap based on business impact and customer needs.
- Work with technology, design, marketing, sales, and operations to execute improvements.
- Find opportunities to improve customer experience, revenue, average order value, and conversion.
- Track competitor websites and emerging e-commerce experiences for ideas worth adapting.
2. Conversion rate optimization CRO is a major part of this role.
- Own the website's conversion optimization roadmap end to end.
- Analyze the full funnel and pinpoint where and why customers drop off.
- Use analytics, heatmaps, session recordings, customer feedback, and A/B testing to diagnose problems.
- Turn findings into testable hypotheses, then design and prioritize experiments.
- Partner with UI/UX and development to ship tests, measure results, and roll successful ones into permanent improvements.
Areas you'll optimize include: landing pages, product pages, product customization, pricing presentation, calls to action, trust signals, reviews and social proof, quote/inquiry flows, artwork upload, design approval, cart, checkout, lead-generation forms, and mobile experience. Over time, you should develop a sharp, evidence-backed understanding of what actually makes a customer buy custom signage online — and keep improving that journey.
3. Data & analytics
- Use data — not just intuition — to identify product and conversion opportunities.
- Monitor conversion rate, revenue per visitor, average order value, add-to-cart rate, checkout conversion, lead-to-order conversion, customer acquisition cost, repeat purchase rate, funnel drop-off, and product-level performance.
- Build dashboards and reports that keep the team honest about what's working.
- Translate data into concrete, actionable product recommendations.
- Set up measurement frameworks for every new launch or experiment.
4. Customer research
- Build a deep understanding of CrazyNeon's customers and how they buy.
- Mine customer inquiries, support conversations, sales feedback, reviews, and abandoned carts for product opportunities.
- Run customer interviews and usability studies where useful.
- Spot recurring problems that technology, automation, better UX, or new products could solve.
- Turn customer problems into clear product requirements.
5. AI & new-age products A key part of this role is identifying and building AI-powered products and experiences for CrazyNeon — and continuously exploring how AI can improve both the customer experience and internal operations.
Potential areas include
- AI-powered custom neon/sign designer and design generation
- AI artwork analysis and preflight
- AI-powered product recommendations, search, and discovery
- AI-assisted quoting and configuration
- AI-powered customer assistance and sales tools
- AI-assisted artwork-to-production workflows
- AI-powered personalization and customer mockup generation
- Internal AI knowledge systems for employees
You'll be responsible for spotting high-value AI opportunities, evaluating new AI technologies and platforms, defining MVPs and requirements, working with developers, AI engineers, designers, and outside vendors, testing with real customers, measuring adoption and impact, and taking what works from prototype to production. You don't need to be an AI engineer — but you should be technically curious, and comfortable understanding what modern AI can and can't actually do.
6. Product strategy & roadmap
- Maintain a prioritized roadmap based on revenue impact, customer value, effort, and strategic importance.
- Turn business problems into clear product requirements, briefs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Take products from idea MVP launch optimization, in step with engineering and design.
- Set KPIs for every major initiative.
7. Experimentation & innovation We want someone who's constantly asking: "What can we do differently?"
- Track new e-commerce technologies and trends, and study companies doing e-commerce and AI well.
- Identify technologies that could give CrazyNeon a real edge.
- Prototype quickly, and test ideas before committing serious development resources.
- Help build a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
What we're looking for Must-have
- 4–8 years in e-commerce product management, growth product management, CRO, digital product management, or similar.
- Strong grasp of e-commerce customer journeys and conversion funnels.
- Hands-on experience running conversion rate optimization programs.
- Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort with analytics platforms and user behavior tools.
- Ability to turn data and customer insight into product decisions.
- Experience working closely with developers and designers.
- Solid understanding of UX/UI principles.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- A commercial mindset — you understand how product changes move revenue.
Nice to have
- Experience with D2C/e-commerce brands.
- Shopify or similar e-commerce platform experience.
- Familiarity with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, VWO, Optimizely, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar.
- Experience with personalization or experimentation platforms.
- Experience building or shipping AI-powered products.
- Familiarity with LLMs, AI APIs, generative AI, computer vision, AI agents, or automation.
- Experience with custom products, configurators, or design tools.
- Experience in international (especially US) e-commerce.
Who thrives in this role Data-driven — you look at the numbers before making product calls.
Customer-obsessed — you want to understand why customers behave the way they do.
Commercially minded — you know a product only succeeds when it creates measurable business value.
Experimentation-oriented — you'd rather test an idea than debate it for weeks.
Technically curious — you don't need to write production code, but you can work effectively with engineers and evaluate new technology.
AI-curious — you follow AI developments and can spot practical applications, not just hype.
Entrepreneurial — you're comfortable when requirements aren't fully defined, and you can build the solution rather than just execute someone else's roadmap.
Hands-on — you can move from customer problem hypothesis spec build launch analytics optimization, start to finish.
How we'll measure success
Website conversion rate
Revenue per visitor
Add-to-cart rate
Checkout conversion
Lead-to-order conversion
Average order value
Revenue from new product experiences
Adoption of new digital/AI products
Customer engagement
Number & quality of experiments run
Reduction in customer friction / manual work
Why join CrazyNeon?
This is a chance to build more than another e-commerce website. You'll help build the technology layer behind the next generation of custom signage commerce — AI-powered design, personalization, automation, configuration, and customer experience.
You'll have real ownership, and the chance to take ideas from concept prototype launch measurable business impact.
If you enjoy working at the intersection of data, e-commerce, product, technology, CRO, and AI — this role could be a strong fit.
