The Role-

- You will own the Housewise platform from start to finish. You will work closely with Operations,
- Sales/CRM, Finance and other teams to understand what they need. You will turn those needs into clear
- requirements and make sure they get delivered, either by building them yourself with AI or by managing
- our technology vendor. You decide which route fits each piece of work, and you are accountable for the result.
- The role is fully remote within India, 9 AM to 6 PM IST, so you work the same hours as the operations, sales and finance teams you will be building for.

Role & responsibilities Own the product-

- Own the roadmap, backlog and priorities for the whole platform
- Decide what gets built, in what order, and why, based on business impact
- Keep the product stable, well documented and easy for teams to use

Gather requirements from the business-

- Work closely with Operations, Sales/CRM, Finance and other teams to understand their workflows, pain points and requests
- Question requests to find the real problem before deciding on a solution
- Turn business processes and SOPs into clear product logic

Write requirements-

- Write clear PRDs, user stories, workflows and acceptance criteria
- Write them precisely enough for both AI development tools and external developers to build from

Deliver: build it yourself or through a vendor-

- Build new features, enhancements and reports yourself using our AI-native development setup
- Our technology vendor reviews your code before it goes live, so you are never shipping to a live system unchecked
- For larger or more complex work, brief and manage the vendor: scope, estimates,



timelines, reviews and sign-off
- Test everything before release, whether you built it or the vendor did (UAT, edge cases, data checks)
- Manage releases and make sure nothing breaks in live operations

Adoption and impact-

- Train teams on current features and collect feedback after launch
- Track whether features are used and are saving time, reducing errors or improving results
- Keep improving based on how the business actually uses the product

Preferred candidate profile Must-have-

- 1-4 years in product management, business analysis, engineering, operations or analytics or equivalent proof of what you have built. We care more about what you have shipped than the title you held.
- Hands-on experience building with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor or similar). You have shipped something real with them.
- Enough technical comfort to understand code, databases and APIs, and to do basic debugging. Working knowledge of SQL is expected.
- Strong process-mapping skills. You can turn a messy real-world workflow into clean system logic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with both business and technical people
- High ownership. You follow requests through to a working feature.

Good to have-

- Experience working with an external vendor or development agency
- Familiarity with PHP and/or Angular
- Exposure to CRM, finance/invoicing or field operations systems
- Understanding of Indian real estate, rentals or property services
- Experience at an early-stage startup working directly with a founder
