- Experience Required: 1 2 Years
- Annual CTC: 6.0 LPA – 8.0 LPA (Commensurate with experience)
- Educational Qualification: B.Des / B.Tech from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 College / University

About the Role We are looking for a hands-on, curious Assistant Product Manager who is passionate about consumer products, design thinking, and the kids & play category. In this role, you will be actively involved in the end-to-end product development journey—from spotting market opportunities and conceptualizing new ideas to collaborating with design, sourcing, manufacturing, and sales teams to bring products successfully to retail shelves.

The ideal candidate combines creative problem-solving with strong project execution, understands how physical products are built, and thrives in taking ideas from concept to commercial launch.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-End Product Management: Drive the complete product development lifecycle—from ideation, market research,

and conceptualization to prototyping, production, and final commercial launch.
- Market & Consumer Insights: Identify untapped market gaps, consumer trends, competitor actions, and retail opportunities across online and offline channels (Indian & Global markets).
- Product Conceptualization: Develop new product concepts, product lines, and range extensions across toys, games, DIY, creative play, and adjacent kids' categories.
- Design & Packaging Alignment: Partner closely with product and graphic designers to convert consumer insights into compelling product concepts, detailed specifications, and functional packaging designs.
- Cross-Functional Execution: Work closely with operations, sourcing, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure products are delivered within timelines, quality parameters, and target cost matrices.
- Timeline & Process Management: Oversee project roadmaps, ensuring seamless movement through each phase: Concept $rightarrow$ Prototype $rightarrow$ Sampling $rightarrow$ Production $rightarrow$ Launch.
- Portfolio Strategy & Enhancement: Analyze existing product lines to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, pricing adjustments, repositioning,

and new variants.
- Documentation & Strategy: Prepare product briefs, specifications, presentations, and market research reports to align internal stakeholders and external vendors.

What We Are Looking For

- Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in product development, product management, category management, or consumer products.
- Education: B.Des or B.Tech degree from a reputed Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution (e.g., NIFT, NID, IITs, NITs, or top design/engineering colleges).
- Category Preference: Prior exposure to toys, games, children’s products, DIY kits, stationery, lifestyle, or FMCG brands is a robust advantage.
- Design & Technical Acumen: Good understanding of design aesthetics, materials, and how physical products transition into manufacturing.
- Communication & Presentation: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to articulate product visions clearly.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent product development projects without compromising quality.

The Ideal Candidate Profile You don't just ask "What product should we make?" but also ask:

"Who is it for? Why will they want it? What is missing in the market? How can we make it better? And how do we take this idea all the way to the shelf?"

You should be naturally curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing creative ideation with analytical research and operational execution.
