Role & responsibilities

- Prepare and review 2D drawings, 3D models, BOMs, and specifications.
- Develop and modify components considering manufacturing feasibility
- Identify design issues that may affect production and recommend suitable modifications.
- Coordinate with mould and tool manufacturers for new mould/tool development.
- Monitor tool trials and implement necessary design corrections.
- Current Product Introduction (NPI) new product development from concept/design through production.
- Conduct prototype, trial, and pre-production evaluations.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, change records, specifications, and trial reports.

Preferred candidate profile: Design For Manufacturing , Design Engineer

Looking for strong understanding of design for Manufacturing fan parts are actually bulit via injection molding, 3D Printing or sheet metal fabrication.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing Engineering
- M.E./M.Tech is an added advantage.





Experience

- 2-7 years in DFM, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, or Tooling.
- Experience in mass manufacturing is preferred. Current DFM roles commonly emphasize hands-on manufacturing knowledge and the ability to take products from design through production.

Software

- SolidWorks / AutoCAD essential
- Creo / CATIA / NX advantage
- Excel essential
- DFM analysis software

Particularly preferred for KKG - TPW FAN manufacturing For an electrical fan manufacturing environment, preference can be given to candidates having experience in:
- Plastic Injection Moulding
- Sheet Metal / Press Components
- Die & Mould Development
- Fan Components and Assemblies
- Motor/Winding Components
- Plastic part design
- Assembly processes
- Tool trials and production validation
- High-volume/mass production
