About the Role

We’re looking for a Product Designer with 0–2 years of experience to help shape Aumraa’s mobile-first faith-tech product.

You’ll work across the complete product design process — from understanding problems and mapping user journeys to creating wireframes, high-fidelity interfaces, interaction patterns, design systems, and improving live product experiences.

This is a role for someone who wants to go beyond visual execution and develop robust product thinking, UX judgment, and end-to-end ownership. You’ll work closely with the founder and engineering team to turn product ideas into experiences that are intuitive, thoughtful, and practical to build.

Who We Are

Aumraa is building a mobile-first faith-tech companion for Indian households, bringing together devotional experiences, spiritual guidance, sacred commerce, temples, content, and community within one connected experience.

Our goal is to make everyday engagement with faith more accessible, thoughtful, and relevant by combining Indian devotional traditions with modern product thinking and technology.





You’ll be joining at an early stage and will have the opportunity to influence how the product is shaped before many of its conventions are established.

What You’ll Do

- Solve product problems, not just design screens: Work directly with the founder to turn ambiguous ideas into clear product flows, user journeys, and interaction patterns.
- Design core product journeys: Work across onboarding, discovery, search, booking, checkout, profile, dashboards, repeat use, and retention.
- Bring strong product thinking into design: Balance user needs, business goals, technical feasibility, and operational realities while identifying friction, confusion, and conversion gaps.
- Design with speed and clarity: Create mobile-first wireframes and high-fidelity UI screens in Figma with strong attention to hierarchy, usability, interaction, and visual consistency.
- Think through states, edge cases, and behaviour: Design empty states, loading states, error states, success states, validation moments, confirmations, nudges, and drop-off recovery experiences.
- Support design systems and handoff: Build reusable components, patterns, variants, and layouts. Prepare explicit specs, annotations, and handoff documentation for engineering.
- Collaborate deeply with product and tech: Work closely with the founder and engineering team through ideation, refinement, handoff, QA,



and iteration to ensure the shipped product matches the intended experience.
- Learn from users and improve live product: Participate in lightweight research, usability reviews, feedback discussions, product reviews, and iterations to continuously improve the experience.

What We’re Looking For

- Have 0–2 years of experience in product design, UI/UX design, interaction design, or mobile app design
- Are a strong fresher or recent graduate with relevant internship experience or a compelling product-design portfolio
- Have worked on digital products through full-time roles, internships, freelance work, startup projects, academic projects, or personal work
- Can demonstrate strong fundamentals in user flows, information architecture, interaction design, wireframing, prototyping, and mobile UI
- Think in terms of user behaviour, decisions, states, journeys, and outcomes, not just individual screens
- Are comfortable using Figma and other AI tools for wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity UI, components, and design systems

Portfolio Expectations:

Please apply with a portfolio that shows mobile-first product design work, preferably with user flows, wireframes, UI screens, product thinking, UX decisions and key states or edge cases. We care more about your thinking, clarity, and problem-solving than fancy presentation.
