We are seeking a skilled and experienced Associate manager to manage Procurements such as Plant Engineering, Digital Manufacturing Services, Industrial Products, Embedded & Mechanical Prototyping, Related Hardware & Software Tools. Knowledge on Import purchase & clearances and Export of Prototypes & Subcontracting Engineering services is essential.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

- Manage relationships with suppliers and business stakeholders.

- New Vendor Development and Supplier Evaluation

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive supplier database and ensure all procurement activities are following local laws and regulations.

- Drive Process Improvement, automation, digitalization initiatives.

- Ensure accurate reporting of procurement activities and metrics.

- Check ERP for approved PR for relevant location & spend category. Ensure approvals as per DOA and LTTS policies.

- Maintain summary of Vendor negotiations

- Follow up Supplier to improve lead delivery times

- Present periodic reports on TAT and savings to Senior Buyers

Requirements

- 6-8 Years of Experience in Managing procurement in related field,



worked in Service or Manufacturing Industries, with a proven track of executing projects based on Customer requirements with a mix of cost savings, Timelines and Supplier relationship management.

- Proven experience as Senior buyer for procurement of Engineering Services, Mechanical and Electrical components, Consultancy services etc.

- In-depth knowledge of procurement and sourcing practices and tools.

- Robust negotiation, analytical and communication skills.

- Working knowledge of SAP HANA and ARIBA Sourcing and Microsoft Office

- Excellent time management and prioritization skills

- Knowledge of local laws (SEZ, DTA etc.) and regulations in India related to procurement.

- Contract Negotiations for Capital equipment and services in Global marketsCheck ERP for approved. Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with agreed terms.

- New Vendor Development and Supplier Evaluation

- Understanding of ISO and CMMI Certified Processes applicable to procurement

- Process purchase orders and deliver follow up requirements
