About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives, drive supplier performance, and deliver sustainable value across assigned procurement categories. The role is responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and leading a team of procurement professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage procurement activities for assigned categories.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with business objectives.
- Define and manage annual sourcing project pipelines and savings targets.
- Drive category management maturity and coach category managers to enhance team performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with key and strategic suppliers, including escalation management.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, and payment terms.
- Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and procurement risks.
- Implement supply risk management measures and ensure continuity of supply.
- Track procurement KPIs, savings, value contributions, and category strategy implementation.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify cutting-edge value-added procurement solutions.
- Lead talent development, coaching, and performance management within the procurement team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies,



procurement standards, and HSE principles.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 10 to 13 years of relevant procurement or strategic sourcing experience.
- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies, category management, supplier management, and procurement best practices.
- Experience in supplier negotiations, bidding strategies, and contract management.
- Understanding of supply market analysis and risk management principles.
- Proficiency in procurement-related IT systems and analytical tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- German language skills will be an added advantage.
