Purchase Executive / Procurement Executive

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive / Procurement Executive with strong experience in the Manufacturing Industry to handle procurement activities, vendor management, material planning, and purchase operations.

Candidates from Manufacturing / Engineering / Automotive / Auto Components / Fabrication / Machinery / Industrial Equipment industries are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage purchase and procurement activities for manufacturing requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop suitable vendors and suppliers.
- Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Sales, Stores, and Accounts teams to understand material requirements.
- Negotiate with suppliers for best price, quality, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Follow up with suppliers for POD, Delivery Notes (DN), invoice copies, and other required documents.
- Monitor material shortages, production requirements, production stoppages, and excess inventory.
- Prepare and maintain procurement and inventory reports, including Open PO, Material On-hand, Production, Finished Goods, and Material Rejection Reports.
- Create and monitor Stock Transport Orders (STO) for inter-plant material transfers.




- Verify received materials against PO details, delivery documents, quantity, and specifications.
- Coordinate with Stores for GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and material receipt verification.
- Support supplier audits and supplier assessments.
- Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company purchasing procedures.
- Perform other procurement-related duties assigned by management.

Qualification
- B.E / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
- B.Com / BBA or related qualification may also be considered.

Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement.
- Mandatory/Preferred Industry Exposure: Manufacturing
- Candidates from Engineering, Automotive, Auto Components, Fabrication, Machinery, Industrial Equipment, or other Manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Candidate Profile Candidates should have hands-on experience in manufacturing purchase/procurement, including vendor management, PR/PO processing, material procurement, supplier negotiation, inventory coordination, and ERP/SAP operations.
