Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Procurement Consultant.

The Procurement

Consultant will design and optimize procurement strategies for Taxcart’s internal operations and, where applicable, for client engagements. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing purchasing needs, conducting market and supplier analysis, managing sourcing activities, and supporting contract negotiations to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, standardize procurement processes, and implement best practices across categories.

Consultant will track procurement performance,



identify opportunities for savings and risk reduction, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Taxcart’s global growth.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Procurement and Supplier Management skills to handle sourcing, vendor evaluation, contracts, and ongoing supplier relationships.
- Candidates should possess Category Management and Consulting skills to develop category strategies, advise stakeholders, and align procurement initiatives with business goals.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret data, create cost and risk analyses, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Experience in technology, SaaS, or global tax/compliance environments is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
- Solid communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with procurement tools, ERP systems, and standard sourcing methodologies is an advantage.
