The Principal Software Engineer - Test will be a senior technical leader within the eClinical Solutions R&D; Team, responsible for designing, building, and evolving enterprise-scale automation platforms, frameworks, developer tooling, and test infrastructure. This is a hands-on software engineering role focused on building production-quality solutions in C#/.NET that enable development and quality engineering teams to validate complex applications at scale. The individual will architect reusable frameworks, distributed execution capabilities, ephemeral test environments, CI/CD integrations, API and data-validation libraries, and AI assisted engineering workflows.

While the work is applied within the testing and quality engineering ecosystem, this is not a traditional QA lead or test-management position. The successful candidate will operate as a platform engineer and technical architect who builds tools and infrastructure used by engineers across the organization. The position will collaborate closely with Software Development, Architecture, DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Quality Engineering teams and will report to the Senior Director, Software Quality Assurance.
