GM University is looking for a senior academic leader to lead and develop the School of Allied Sciences, covering six undergraduate programmes:
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (BMLS)
- Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (BND),
- Bachelor of Psychology (B.Psy),
- Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology (BMRIT),
- Bachelor of Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology (B.AOTT), and
- Bachelor of Dialysis Therapy Technology (BDTT).
The role involves academic leadership, faculty development, programme management, research, quality processes and clinical/practical partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead academic and administrative functioning of the School.
- Oversee curriculum implementation and programme development.
- Lead faculty recruitment, mentoring and development.
- Develop laboratories,
practical training and clinical partnerships.
- Drive research, innovation and industry/healthcare collaborations.
- Manage academic quality, student outcomes and institutional development.
- Coordinate with university leadership and key stakeholders.
Eligibility & Experience
- Master's degree in a relevant Allied/Health Sciences discipline.
- PhD strongly preferred.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in one or more Allied Sciences programmes(BMLS, BND, B.Psy, BMRIT, B.AOTT and BDTT).
- Strong experience in academic administration, programme/school leadership or institutional development.
- Experience in curriculum, faculty leadership, academic quality and research.
- Hospital, diagnostic centre, healthcare or allied-health organisation experience is highly desirable.
