We are seeking an entrepreneurial Principal Data Architect to become one of the founding members of our Google Cloud Data AI Practice. This role extends beyond solution architecture. You will help establish our Google Cloud capability by designing modern enterprise data platforms, creating reusable assets and reference architectures, supporting strategic client engagements, and mentoring future teams.

You will work closely with Google Cloud engineering teams and internal leadership to shape our next-generation Data AI offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Client Solution Architecture - Lead architecture for enterprise-scale Data AI modernization initiatives on Google Cloud. Design modern data platforms using BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, PubSub, Cloud Storage, Composer, and related Google Cloud services.

Architect scalable batch, streaming, and real-time data processing solutions.

Design enterprise semantic layers, metadata architectures, governance frameworks, and AI-ready data platforms.

Partner with AI architects to create integrated Data + AI reference architectures.

Consulting Customer Engagement - Lead discovery workshops and architecture assessments. Support proposal development, solution estimation, and executive presentations. Act as trusted advisor during client transformation programs.

Practice Builder Mindset - As a founding member of the practice, you are expected to help build the capabilitynot just deliver projects.

You will: Design reusable reference architectures and implementation blueprints. Create delivery accelerators, templates, and best practices.



Publish technical blogs, white papers, and thought leadership content.

Collaborate with Google Cloud engineering teams on joint solution development. Develop demonstration environments and proof-of-concept assets. Mentor architects and engineers entering the Google Cloud ecosystem.

Contribute to defining service offerings, delivery methodologies, and go-to-market assets. Participate in customer events, webinars, and innovation sessions. Help shape the long-term vision of the Google Cloud Data AI practice.

Publish 5+ reusable architecture assets. Deliver 3+ customer architecture workshops. Support multiple Google Cloud proposals and strategic pursuits. Create at least 3 delivery accelerators. Mentor and enable a growing Google Cloud engineering community.
