Principal Consultant, Business Consulting – Tech Transformation

Infosys Consulting is seeking candidates for their Technology Transformation practice. Candidate must be an experienced IT professional/consultant with the requisite domain acumen and delivery proficiency to help clients achieve business success. An ideal candidate would have a balance of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills to navigate complex M&A; scenarios effectively with 12+ YOE.

Candidates must be comfortable to take up working at all levels to help the organization define and deliver IT solutions and processes as part of an integrated strategy.

As a Principal Consultant, you will work on, among other things:

1. Providing strategic & technical advice to CIO and IT SMEs on-

- Due Diligence:
- Assess target companies' IT systems, infrastructure, and capabilities.
- Identify risks and opportunities related to IT during the M&A; process.
- Evaluate compatibility of IT platforms and technologies.
- Integration/Separation Planning:
- Develop IT integration/separation strategies and roadmaps post-merger.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and objectives for IT integration/separation.
- Estimate costs and timelines for IT integration/carve-out projects.
- Implementation Support:
- Provide oversight during the integration of IT systems and applications.
- Ensure data migration and application consolidation are executed smoothly.
- Support the implementation of unified IT policies, governance, and security protocols.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Liaise with IT teams from both organizations to facilitate knowledge sharing and alignment.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Create and maintain documentation related to IT assessments, integration plans, and progress.
- Monitor key performance indicators to assess integration success.

1. Project Execution

- Collaborate with client counterparts to define long-term vision, goals, and strategies
- Contribute to the design and development of client future processes and organizations with corresponding transformation roadmaps
- Conduct requirements workshops with a team of global IT professional & subject matter experts, translating those requirements into actionable project initiatives with associated metrics
- Solution targeted processes, leveraging best practices
- Perform knowledge transfer to the client and support organizations throughout all phases of the project




- Providing and receiving regular feedback and ensuring effective communication and high levels of satisfaction between the team and consultants under stressful circumstances
- Leading & driving business pitches and present, creative concepts and new and innovative ideas to internal and external clients

1. Sales / Business Development

- Support Infosys Consulting leadership team members in driving proposal development and leading proposal discussions
- Develop client relationships to identify and qualify sales opportunities with the assistance of senior leadership
- Lead solution definition for client-specific needs during the opportunity to closure cycle
- Articulate our unique point of view in various thought leadership media, including papers, webinars, and seminars

1. People Development

- Mentor and coach team members through formal, performance evaluation methods and informal, individual feedback opportunities
- Collaborate and share knowledge
- Lead the day-to-day execution of projects while guiding and developing individual team members

1. Practice Development

- Create/contribute practice artifacts
- Contribute to practice growth through recruitment, training, and retention
- Provide insight and thought leadership in developing innovative assets, including differentiated points of view and methodologies

1. Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in any technology related field.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, project management, and integration methodologies.
- Excellent articulation, communication, and strong interpersonal skills
- Exhibit a passion for technology and continually learn and keep pace with the accelerating change across multiple technologies and solutions
- 9+ Years of consulting/advisory experience in at least 2 of the following areas:
- M&A; IT Integrations - provide overall integration leadership to clients across the M&A; lifecycle including Due Diligence, Integration Planning and Execution, Value and Stranded Cost analysis, setting up and running Integration Management Office
- Cloud Strategy & Migration – Cloud Service Provider Selection, Cloud Migration Assessment & Business Case, Cloud COE assessment & design, Cloud Finance Management Design
- IT Cost Optimization – technology business management (TBM) data strategy, TBM office governance, TBM managed services, Apptio implementation




- Enterprise Agile Transformation – vision, strategy and roadmap, operating model, workforce model, COE setup
- IT Strategy & Architecture – driving next gen IT & business architecture, IT capability assessment, new operating model design, value realization and Application Portfolio Optimization
- Data engineering and strategy
- Cybersecurity- experience in any of the following-
- Cyber GRC- ISMS (ISO 27001) - BCMS (ISO 22301)- NIST CSF, NIST 800-171 (CUI) - SABSA (Security Architecture)
- Risk Management- NIST 800-37, 800-30, NIST 800-53
- Privacy - GDPR - CCPA

Regulatory Compliance - NERC CIP- PCIDSS - DoD CMMC
- Project Management

Preferred Qualifications

- M.B.A. or equivalent advanced degree from Tier 1/Tier 2 colleges
- Big 4 consulting or equivalent experience
- Experience with data management, IT strategy, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity is advantageous.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
- Certifications: TOGAF, ITIL Foundation, COBIT, Apptio TBMA, Secure, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving skills: ability to determine proper course or methodology with minimal direction or supervision.
- Ability to produce clear, concise, relevant, and accurate recommendations based on information gathered from stakeholders and subject matter experts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
