Role & responsibilities A primary school teacher at iTeach Schools wears multiple hats to ensure a foundational, high-quality education for our youngest learners. The role is divided into three key areas:

1. Foundational Teaching (60% of time)

- Teach English and Social Studies (SST) using age-appropriate, activity-based learning methodologies to students in primary grades.
- Conduct regular, low-stakes tests and assessments to monitor foundational learning gaps and provide encouraging feedback.
- Build a warm, positive, joyful, and nurturing classroom culture focused on building confidence and early literacy skills.




- Collaborate closely with parents through regular meetings to build strong home-to-school learning habits.
- 2.Student Mentorship & Care (20% of time)
- Mentor a cohort of 15-20 primary students throughout the academic year, focusing on emotional safety and foundational skills.
- Develop and execute actionable plans to instill early study habits, maintain high daily attendance, and drive growth.
- Share effective early-childhood mentorship strategies with teachers across the broader ecosystem.
- 3 School Projects & Co-Curriculars (20% of time)
- Collaborate with Senior Teachers to implement school-wide projects such as Primary Hobby Clubs, Career Awareness activities, Annual Day, and Sports Day.
- Leverage these school events to strengthen your personal leadership skills and mentor incoming faculty members.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: Bachelor's Degree with a robust academic and holistic track record.
- Professional Qualification: B.Ed. Degree completed with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
- Experience: 1 to 5 years of teaching experience. Candidates with 12 years of experience teaching foundational or primary grades are preferred.
