Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pricing and Sales role in Freight Forwarding, based in Mumbai. The role involves preparing and negotiating freight rates, creating competitive pricing proposals, and coordinating with carriers, agents, and internal operations teams to ensure accurate quotations. The position includes developing and managing customer accounts, responding to inquiries, and providing timely and clear communication on shipment status and pricing options.

Responsibilities also cover analyzing market trends, maintaining rate databases, supporting bid and tender submissions, and collaborating with the sales team to convert leads into long-term business.



The individual will work closely with customer service and documentation teams to ensure smooth execution of export shipments and overall client satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Freight Forwarding and Freight Transportation skills, with practical experience in international logistics operations.
- Candidates should possess Forwarding and Export skills, including familiarity with shipping documentation, incoterms, and export procedures.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with the ability to manage client relationships, handle queries, and resolve issues professionally.
- Relevant experience in pricing, sales, or business development within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Good analytical and negotiation skills, with attention to detail in rate calculation and cost comparison.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of additional regional languages is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and common logistics software or TMS tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and global offices.
- Graduate degree in Commerce, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
