Pricing & Proforma Analyst

About the Role

We're hiring a detail-oriented Pricing & Proforma Analyst to support pricing model preparation and client proforma analysis. Ideal for someone robust in Excel and analytics who wants to build a career in healthcare pricing/reimbursement. No healthcare experience required full training provided.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain Excel-based pricing/proforma models
- Analyze client data: charges, allowed amounts, payments, volumes, payer info
- Apply pricing assumptions, fee structures, and business rules to models
- Perform data validation and quality checks; flag inconsistencies
- Summarize claim/service-level findings for management
- Support state- and payer-specific pricing analysis
- Model scenarios (volume, win rate, reimbursement, fee changes)
- Benchmark model outputs and identify variances
- Document assumptions/methodology per proforma
- Coordinate with Senior Pricing Manager and cross-functional teams
- Manage multiple proforma requests to deadline

Required Skills Excel (Essential): XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, IF/nested IF, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting, data cleaning, large dataset handling, formula/error checking





Communication: Strong written/verbal skills; clear reporting of findings and issues; comfortable asking clarifying questions

Analytical: High attention to detail; pattern/anomaly detection; structured problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Data Analytics, Healthcare Admin, or related field
- 1-5 years in analytical, pricing, financial, healthcare, or operations roles
- Excel-based financial/analytical modeling experience
- Exposure to healthcare claims, reimbursement, billing, or RCM (plus)
- Power BI/SQL knowledge (plus, not required)

Note: Healthcare/IDR knowledge is NOT mandatory training covers reimbursement, IDR/NSA concepts, payer economics, and our proforma methodology. We prioritize Excel skill, analytical ability, and willingness to learn.
