We are looking for an experienced Presales Solution Architect Databricks to drive technical presales, solutioning, and customer engagements across Data Engineering, Analytics, AI, and Databricks-based modern data platforms.

The ideal candidate will combine strong Databricks and cloud architecture expertise with excellent client-facing and presales skills. The role involves understanding customer business requirements, designing scalable data and AI solutions, preparing technical proposals, conducting solution workshops and demonstrations, and supporting the sales team through the complete presales lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Presales & Customer Engagement

- Engage with customers and prospects to understand business, data, analytics, and AI requirements.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, solution discussions, and presentations.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and commercially viable technical solutions.
- Act as the technical SME during RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and customer presentations.
- Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Data Engineering, Data Science,



and Cloud teams to develop winning solutions.
- Support account teams in identifying new opportunities, expansion opportunities, and technology-led transformation initiatives.

Solution Architecture
- Design end-to-end Databricks-based data and AI solutions.
- Develop architecture for up-to-date data platforms, data lakes, lakehouse, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.
- Design solutions covering batch and real-time/streaming data processing.
- Define data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, governance, security, and consumption layers.
- Architect solutions using Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows, MLflow, SQL Warehouses, and related capabilities.
- Design cloud-native solutions across Azure, AWS, or GCP, with strong preference for Azure Databricks experience.
- Recommend appropriate technology components based on customer requirements, scalability, performance, security, and cost.
