The Role:

If you're a Communications qualified with a strong linkage with business, startup, and tech media, this job is for you. We are looking for a proactive Public Relations Account Manager who is adept at media relations, an expert storyteller, can come up with great ideas and strategies, and is a self-starter. This is a full-time in office role for a Public Relations Manager at Dharma Media Consultants.

The PR Manager will be responsible for managing press releases, account relationships, communication strategies, public relations, and media relations on a day-to-day basis. Strong speaking and writing skills in English are mandatory and an interest in Social Media is a plus. You will be expected to interface with client partners and the media regularly.

Qualifications:

- A PR professional with at least 2 years of experience as Account Manager and with total PR experience of minimum 3-5 years
- Proven experience in getting media coverage in startup, tech, and business media
- Experience in sectors such as AI, SaaS, healthcare, PE-VC is a plus
- A proficient writer who can draft content for press releases, social media, and authored articles
- Has experience and willingness to manage and support others in the team
- Should have contacts in national, local, and vernacular media
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field
- Pleasant disposition, organised, and a willing team-player
- Prior agency experience is mandatory
