We are looking of a PPC Manager for a manufacturing company located in Derabassi (Punjab)
PPC Manager –
- Plan and schedule production as per customer orders and dispatch requirements.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production plans.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance and Dispatch teams.
- Monitor raw-material availability and production capacity.
- Track production progress against planned targets and identify delays.
- Maintain MIS reports, production reports, inventory reports and dispatch schedules.
- Control WIP and finished-goods inventory.
- Follow up with purchase/stores for timely material availability.
- Analyze production capacity, manpower and machine utilization.
- Coordinate with sales/customer-service teams regarding delivery commitments.
- Identify bottlenecks and take corrective actions.
- Maintain ERP/MRP data and production planning records.
- Monitor OTD (On-Time Delivery), productivity, rejection and production efficiency.
- Lead and guide PPC/planning executives or coordinators.
Typical requirements
- Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Usually around 5–10 years in manufacturing/PPC, depending on company size.
- Good knowledge of Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong production planning, coordination and analytical skills.
