- Operate power press machines safely and efficiently for sheet metal/component production.
- Set up dies, tools, and materials according to production requirements.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished components.
- Ensure proper alignment and accurate dimensions of components during production.
- Inspect finished parts for quality, dimensions, and defects.
- Follow production schedules and meet daily production targets.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the power press and work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report machine problems, tool/die issues, or quality concerns to the supervisor.
- Minimize material wastage and ensure proper handling of components.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Power Press Operator is preferred.
- Knowledge of power press machine operation, dies, and sheet metal work.
- Ability to understand basic measurements and production instructions.
- Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing setting.
- Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Freshers with relevant machine-operation skills may also be considered.
