Role Summary The Business Intelligence Developer is a hands-on technical execution role within the enterprise BI team. This position focuses on developing, building, and maintaining analytical solutions within our Domo platform. The successful candidate will work across multiple business units as needed, rapidly delivering high-quality BI outputs with minimal need for business stakeholder management. We expect to create a team of developers.

This is a development-focused role — the primary expectation is robust, reliable BI execution: building ETLs, creating reports and dashboards, maintaining data pipelines, and resolving technical issues efficiently. Strategic solutioning and direct business partnering are handled by onshore team leads; this role delivers the technical output.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

BI Development & Delivery

- Design, build, and maintain Domo dashboards, reports, and data visualizations across multiple business units
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines (Extract, Transform, Load) for integrating data from various sources into Domo
- Move BI report prototypes all the way through to permanent production content with full documentation
- Build and maintain datasets,



dataflows, and beast modes within the Domo platform
- Execute rapid prototyping of BI solutions based on specifications provided by onshore leads
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and bounce between business units as workload requires

Quality Assurance & Support

- Conduct regular QA reviews of BI output to ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance
- Provide responsive end-user support across the Business Intelligence platform
- Perform ad-hoc troubleshooting of reports, ETLs, dataflows, and platform connectivity issues
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies and report deficiencies

Collaboration & Communication

- Work closely with onshore BI leads who manage business relationships and define requirements
- Participate in BI team meetings and async standups; communicate progress and blockers clearly
- Maintain clear documentation of solutions, logic, and data lineage
- Collaborate with other BI team members on joint workflows and shared platforms
- Work well with onshore and local team members

Basic Qualifications

Education

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Required Experience

- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on BI development experience (Domo strongly preferred, but not required)




- Demonstrated experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data integrations
- Solid experience with SQL — writing complex queries, joins, aggregations, and transformations
- Experience working on multi-person, project-based BI delivery teams
- Proven ability to work across multiple simultaneous projects or business units

Technical Skills Required

- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts
- Hands-on experience with Domo (datasets, dataflows, beast modes, ETL connectors) highly preferred
- Familiarity with data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data integration patterns
- Comfortable working with large datasets and diagnosing data quality issues

Soft Skills & Work Style

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment
- Strong time management: able to juggle multiple assignments and meet deadlines reliably
- Clear written and verbal communication in English — able to give status updates, ask clarifying questions, and flag issues proactively
- Detail-oriented with a quality-first mindset
- Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities across business units

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

- Prior experience with Domo-specific features: Magic ETL, Domo Everywhere, Appdb, Domo Stories
- Familiarity with Python, AI, and other modern tools
- Experience supporting US-based teams across time zones (overlap with US Central or Eastern time preferred)

Work Arrangement

This is a fully remote position. Partial overlap with US business hours (Pacific Time) is required for daily standups and team collaboration — typically a 4-hour overlap window. Reliable high-speed internet and a professional remote work setup are expected.
