Role Overview:

We are looking for a strong Power BI Developer with hands-on experience in BI/reporting delivery, advanced SQL, data validation and reconciliation , and enterprise data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Oracle, or SQL Server . The candidate should be able to independently support the complete reporting lifecycle, including development, testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and datasets .
- Build advanced DAX measures , data models and optimise Power BI report performance.
- Write, troubleshoot and optimise complex SQL queries across large datasets.
- Work with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Oracle and SQL Server .
- Develop and support Power BI Paginated Reports using Report Builder .
- Configure dataset parameters and ODBC data sources .
- Troubleshoot Power BI Gateway, connectivity and refresh issues .
- Manage reporting lifecycle from requirements → development → validation → defect fixing → stage testing → production deployment .




- Perform data validation, reconciliation and root-cause analysis for data mismatches and row-count differences.
- Understand CDC (Change Data Capture) and issues related to incremental data loads.
- Support business-critical and operational reporting used by stakeholders.
- Work with semantic layers, reusable datasets and curated reporting tables .
- Independently troubleshoot query errors, connection failures and data issues .
- Provide transparent updates on status, risks, blockers and next steps .
- Participate in standups, requirement discussions, defect triage and deployment coordination .
- Maintain proper technical documentation and deployment readiness.
