Typical Experience

- 6+ years of Software Testing experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on PowerCurve Collections testing.
- Experience in Banking/Collections/Reconciliation environments.

Senior Tester - PowerCurve Collections Responsible for testing and validating Experian PowerCurve Collections solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery of collections, recoveries,

And debt management systems. The role involves functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing across collection workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse business requirements, functional specifications, and collection strategies.
- Design and execute test cases for PowerCurve Collections implementations and enhancements.
- Validate collection workflows, debt recovery strategies, callbacks, payment arrangements, and customer segmentation.
- Perform end-to-end testing across PowerCurve Collections, databases, APIs, and integrated applications.
- Execute SIT, Regression, UAT support, and Production validation testing.
- Validate business rules configured within PowerCurve decision strategies.
- Identify, log, track, and manage defects using Jira.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners,



and Collection SMEs.
- Prepare test plans, test execution reports, and test closure documentation.
- Support release management and deployment validation activities.
- Perform data validation using SQL queries.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Experian PowerCurve Collections (PCC).
- Good understanding of collection and recovery lifecycle.
- Experience in Functional Testing and System Integration Testing.
- Robust SQL skills for backend database validation.
- Experience with defect management tools such as Jira.
- Knowledge of API testing using Postman or Soap UI.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodology.
- Experience with test management tools such as qTest.

Preferred Skills

- Automation exposure using Selenium, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Credit Cards, Loans, or Collections domains.
- Understanding of batch processing and collections campaigns.
- Basic Unix/Linux command knowledge.

Senior-Level Expectations

- Lead testing activities for multiple releases.
- Mentor junior testers and review test artifacts.
- Drive defect triage discussions with stakeholders.
- Provide estimation and testing strategy inputs during project planning.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with business and regulatory requirements.
